Say hello to Findlay, a mint colored Finback Whale!
Did you know Finback whales are second in size only to the Blue Whale? I was inspired to paint Findlay after viewing a couple Finbacks off the coast of Portland, Maine on a whale watch. Finbacks are recognizable by their great size (59-72 ft long) and large dorsal fin.
The old, naturally textured and weathered piece of barn has been given new life and purpose with a creature inspired by sea nearby, measures 24" x 1" x 8" and comes complete with hanging hardware on back.
